Just found out that a set that I shot almost a year ago was just published in Northside magazine vol 36 – which can be purchased here http://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/1588332. It was supposed to come out last August however I kept getting updates that it was pushed back.
Congratulations to Chris Covington and I the accomplishment. You may remember seeing a set that I did of Chris and his beautiful wife Ariel posted previously – You can see it here . After having my work featured over 100 times last year – it’s always an honor.
The editorial was titled What is Man? Inspired from Psalms 8 – 4 which reads 4what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

I’m so honored and consider myself so lucky to work with him” I have always wanted to do a boudoir photo shoot but never had the courage to do one because it can be really scary and intimidating and I had never found a photographer I was comfortable with seeing me in that state until I found William. What I liked most was that how the shoot went was totally in my hands and I had full control over what I wore, which makes the experience easy. William has the best support as well, his wife supports all of his endeavors and having her there while we shot made things more relaxed as well. We couldn’t be happier with our couples shoot & cant wait to do it all over again! I recently had a boudoir photo shoot with William and it was the most awesome experience. I have wanted nice pictures for years for my husband but didn’t really want to go to a stranger. I met William through my husband, they went to the same school. When I got there he welcomed me into his home, by the way, which is a great place for a photo shoot. He chose the outfits I brought for me and designed different poses for all of them. He made me comfortable. I noticed in the background he had very beautiful seductive music to get me in that type of mindset which helped set the mood for great photos. I was highly impressed. I dont pose well and he helped me every step of the way. I have never seen myself look that great. It has helped me build a little more confidence in myself. I drove 8 hours there just to have him do this and it was well worth the drive. I recommend his expertise and service to anyone wanting to do this. I love his work, thank you William As a female it has always made me nervous to go shoot with a photographer. I have always had to bring a friend with me or know the photographer on a personal level before I would go alone. When WEA photography reached out to me I did my research. He had great quality work and I liked the idea that his wife would be there. I finally decided to give him a try. Now 3 photo shoots with him later, I can’t wait to have a reason to shoot again. I’m a bodybuilding bikini competitor so I normally only like doing photo shoots when I am my leanest. Will talked me in to doing a shoot in my off season and to embrace my body all year round….. and he was right! I loves the pictures and gave them to family as a Christmas present. I had been following William’s work for quite some time before I decided to reach out and ask him about possibly doing a shoot. I was nervous, scared, didn’t know what to expect. When I walked into his loft that first day, him and his wife met me with a huge smile and a hug, immediately helping me to feel much more at ease! His shots made me look at myself completely different- Seeing yourself in the mirror is one thing. Seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes is a whole new experience! Recently had a client ask about something combining boudoir and water. My immediate thoughts were ‘please not another one of those tub shoots with ______ in the water with them’. To my surprise that was not her idea, she gave me creative freedom to craft the concept that your about to see. Due low temps, this could not have been done outdoors so I decided to use the spare shower in our studio dressing room for it.
I started out using a speed-light, but just ended up using the natural lighting that came from the back of the shower and some nifty camera adjusts along the way. Needless to say the client was pleased with the outcome..
So my wife and I were at the airport in Atlanta about to travel on holiday to our yearly|personal marital retreat to the island of Aruba when a email came through. I took a cpl days to answer it as we were enjoying ourselves. Upon reading it, L had expressed a desire to do non traditional couples shoot. Their last couples shoot was a cookie cutter shoot that looked scripted so this one she wanted it to be different. During the consultation, she provided some frame work, but gave me creative control to go off script.
Her and D arrived at 630am the morning of shoot bearing delicious cookies and a open mind. We got the initial sunrise shots in about 40 degree weather and as u can see D was a trooper with her shirt off.. The rest is history, new friends were made and new projects with them are on the horizon. Enjoy!

MW and I recently met via social media. She had did two boudoir type shoots previously, however this was her first full multi outfit studio experience. We had communicated for several weeks prior to the shoot, as we helped her plan her wardrobe and prepare her for her big day.
On the day of the shoot, she showed up expectantly excited. To ease her into things, we shot a quick fashion look for her social media before we dove into the boudoir experience. During that first look, I directed her on posture, angles and posing commands which she caught on super fast.
We moved on to her first more revealing outfit and let’s just say she was In her zone. Enjoy the results 🙂

Hi I’m Katie. I’m a licensed makeup artist and hairstylist of 4 years specializing in hairstyling, beauty and special effects makeup for film, print, weddings, and events. My favorite part of what I do is the new places it takes me and the diversity of new people and creatives I meet along the way. I came to Atlanta three years ago and began to love working on films and doing makeup for photography. Getting to contribute your art form to a bigger piece of art work and seeing the finished project is very satisfying. I recently started working with a very talented photographer William Allen and got my first magazine publication in Ellements Magazine in December of 2018. When I’m not making people look their best I enjoy dancing and playing with my dog Chloe.
